Good Morning,Good Day or Good Evening!!!!
  Hoping every one is having a great fall! I have been working on 2 different things: my 'new' adventure is painting furniture! I am still making my cards and always will....but for some reason I am now addicted to HomeTalk [http://www.hometalk.com/] and have been looking at all the painted furniture!! What a fantastic place to visit. I used to be addicted to Pinterest, and still love Pinterest, but boy howdey....HT is fabulous!!!! Do take a look!!

   Well I had bought a $3 mini dresser and of course had to try my hand at painting it!!! Here is a peek at it:

I obviously painted it then sanded it. The paint is called 'Kangaroo' in Velspar paint! Love that color!!! Then used K&Co paper, not sure which pack then used Wild Orchid Crafts' flowers and other goodies from my stash! I love the way it is coming along! Been sitting around for a month or so as I work on other things!!!

HEY!!!!

Where have I been?!!  Who knows! Guess I better learn to do more on my 'blog'! I am so jealous of everyone elses' I have been on lately and mine is just MIA!!! So, I have been junkin and buying up tables to alter!! Havent made many cards at all lately, again....just altering/painting and having fun!! Here is a couple of items I have been doing lately...OH..I have been making fabric flowers. I learned the basics from Tricia on You Tube: Rosette flowers by Tricia !!! so, here goes a few of my fave flowers I have made!!! And, thank you for popping in to visit me! I promise I will try to get better at being on my blog like a 'regular' person!!!

A wedding card for a friend!

 

Good Morning all!! It is a snowy, rainy, & spoodgey day here in Oswego, NY!!!

I also have started Cardiac Therapy for my heart. I guess it is needed since my heart attack        

last year! I exercise on the treadmill [which I want to get one for home NOW!]! And a few more

exercise pieces...I also have a doc apt for next week to talk to them about having my left hip

replaced! I have had the right hip replaced a couple of years ago, it wasnt fun and the recovery sucked!!

But, back to my posting...one of the nurses at therapy wanted me to make her a card for her son's

wedding in July this year. Here is one, made another one but havent taken a pic yet. Well...the colors

 they want are: Green [not sure WHICH shade] and Lavendar. yea, well...they are also into music and

are supposedly 'sophisticated'...ok...what other color is 'sophisticated' ??!! LOL..so this is a sample I

made to show her and well...she does want the colors she mentioned, AFTER I made this! Which is fine as

I can use this one for someone else later!!

Good Morning again!! Here are my Christmas cards that were made for my cousins! The Christmas bell ones, [which I absolutley love!!] were colored and glossy accented and fussy cut!! [Love my exact-o knife boy!!]  And the penugins!! Cute Cute!! The music paper bg was just copied and printed from a music website! These card went out [sets of 25] and now it is off to do ours!!! I actually started in the beginning of October, and now, I am late!!! Go figure!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Chrstmas.....!!

Good Morning and welcome to almost Christmas !! Just wanted to show you guys some of my Christmas catcus'!! These are the only plant that I can grow inside! I have about 12 of them! They are doing wonderfully, but need to repot them!!

Has anyone been making their Christmas cards?! I have, but ended up donating 25 of them to a benefit for our neigbors son who passed away from a motorcycle accident in April 2012. And have done a couple special orders for family! Yayy!! So back to our cards! I just got my order from Gina K !! 

Gorgeous stamps! Great impressions!!! And I also bought some of her black cardstock!! To die for you guys!! Really!!! Anyways, will get my pics of recent cards then the package from StampTV.....

Hello EVERY one!! Have been MIA for quite a while, been working on Christmas cards now ...Yayy!! But tons of doctor visits after my awesome heart attack!!! {insert another 'yayyy' here!} But here is a card I did make my Cardiologist, {Dr. Ronald Caputo, Syracuse, NY}, when I gave it to him last Friday, he got all embarassed but loved it!!! Soo happy! Next week I do a stress test!! Yayy again! I am to cut out sugar [not gonna happen!!] and regular coffee or cut down [from ONLY 6 - 8 cups a day? THAT is how I stay creative!!!] So...here goes and I hope everyone out there has been awesome!!

Hello all!! I HAVE been MIA for quite a while. On Father's Day [2012] I had a heart attack!! Now, I am taking Plavix and WOW, I was a bruiser anyways, but NOW..the wind blows hard and blammmmo!! I get a biggity big bruise! LOL..but, I am good. Back to making cards. This is a card for the EMT's that first took care of me. Kev [hubby] and I were at a car show at the firehouse, I wasnt going to go, but figured: why not, get out of the house and see people! It was fun, until then!!! But since the EMT's worked so fast....Here I am! I had a stent put in and the surgeon took out 3 clots. My right artery was 95% blocked..but...here I am!!!

So, here is a card plus I made a huuuge bowl of chicken wing dip and went over and gave it to them. They were obviously verry happy to see me!! Was a tearful reunion. I know a few of them and some said it was hard to see me like that. They did such a great job!! So do what you can for you volunteer firemen & emt's!!! THEY ROCK!!

Here is the FIRST ever little mini birdhouse alter!! Yayy!! I have never done anything like this, and it was fun!! I have 3 more a little bigger and a really big one to alter!! Cant wait! I have been MIA for a while and I am sorry...but hopefully I will be here more! Havent done much work or actually HAVE done work, just havent finished them! But, I will try to get back to work....enjoy my little birdhouse!! More to come!!

Okidoky!!! Still having really bad headaches, been over a week. Had blood work, still waiting on that!! Yayyy! Had thyroid checked, 'fine' which means....I AM just fat!! LOL! Menopause..YUP..[GOD.. knew that by those pesky hot flashes!!]

But, back to playing, I made some pepperoni bread yesterday! Came out really good, but of course: could use MORE cheeeez!!

I havent really done any crafting because my desk lamp and back table lamp are kind of messing with my vision! So what's a girl to do?! BAKE!!! I will be posting, oh!! I forgot....I dont have my nieces mini album I made for her new baby: Naomi and her daughter Charlee...hmmm..guess I need to get those on here!! OK then...guess I will have 2 posts for today!!

Hello everyone!! Just poppin' in for a bit...I have a really bad headache that just wont go away, yea,I could do this tomorrow...but figured since I am out of bed for a minute...

This card and 3 x 3 inch mini is for my bff's daughter in California! She has 2 gorgeous kids, so I thought I would make her a mini to stick in her purse or wherever and remember how cute and small they were!!  Have a great day everyone, and I will be back later...

Hey kids! I had to do another post for today!! Teehee...now I am getting cocky with my new blog!! Good afternoon everyone!! It is a bright sunny, albeit, chilly day....but nice! I have been working on a different card style. Was checking out YouTube and SCS blog and found this really cool easy card to make...

The directions are pretty easy. I believe it is called a Center Step card...not sure tho, so don't hold it against me if you find it and I got the name wrong!! Give it a whirl!! I will definately be making this style again!! I am going to be entering some cards into the PaperCrafts magazine and think this will be like the one I will enter! Have never entered anything into a mag before...sooo fingers crossed everyone!!!

I wanted to show you a couple of items I have made for my good friend Shilpa Lalit. I met her when we were on the website MilliandeArtCommunityfor women. She is an amazing artist. I will try to put a link to her work on here later. Shilpa and Lalit welcomed a baby boy January 31st 2012!! Soo happy for them! Here are a few things I made for them:

I made the flowers on the frame and the bow! It took me a while because you know, I am never satisfied and HAVE to finally put things down and let it go!! LOL...I hope she likes these, I am sure she will...it went out in the mail today!

Gift Card holders I have been working on

Blue purse gift card/money/candy etc holder. This is just a mock up...but cant wait to make more of these!! They were fun!!

Love the baby onsie gift card holders! Fantastic for baby showers, baby birthday's...even for older 'kids' birthday gifts!! Have had this die and decided..'why not!!?'.....

Another adorable purse gift card/money/candy or whatever will fit in this adorable purse!! My new fave things to make!! Yeah for YouTube!!!

Inside of another money/gift card holder! The tab helps to pull up the card which will have a card/money attached to it via 1/2 circle punches. Now, to find/buy that punch. I believe it is an old Stampin Up one, but I am sure I can find it otherwise!!

How adorable! This is my first one to make like this! The brad to the left is a 'makeshift' hinge! Love that!

A-DOR-A-BLE!!! Really...how cute is this? I heat embossed this gorgeous dragonfly in copper!! The stamp sentiment 'just for you' is from a kit I have from StampTv. Fantastic stamps sets there with GinaK!! I have an order waiting for me that is about $235! Buy 3 stamp sets and get one free! Fantastic cardstock! Really cant be beat and the beautiful stamp sets!

Inside of the blue baby onsie! Did these pictures backwards...sorry kids!! I did this pocket myself and just love this! Have never seen anything like these card holders!! Cute!!

Outside of the blue card holder! How adorable is that baby!! Yeah for ebay!! LOL. Put the swarovski crystals for the snaps!! Cute!!!

Loving this onsie holder! Love the white with different color background scallops!! Again, I must say...ADORABLE!!!

Inside of the baby mouse 'get well/feel better' holder. The middle opens a little so a card, tea bag or something thin will go in there!!

Ghost Hunt 8/2011 !!!

 This is the group of us that went to Louiseville Kentucky 8/2011 for a ghost hunt!!!

 On the fourth floor of Waverly Hill Sanitorium!! Remember, it was PITCH BLACK in there! I had a great camera!!!

 Here is the top [5th floor] area where the children were...verry creepy there! It felt soo dreary in there. Didn't hear any children, which I was thankful for!! Just foot steps and breathes of people!

Ok..see that white orb to the right of this pic?! This was when we got there about 7pm! Still light out and I caught an apparition!! Very cool, and yeah, no, it ISN'T my finger !!! Wayyy cool you guys!!

Hello all!! Well..it's appears that I might have FINALLY gotten a little bit more info on putting up a blog! I DID have a blog...doofy me...and told people I didn't..! Hmm..LOL...So, with the help of my husband and intense patience on my part...I am getting this thing going!

Quite a few people have asked about my blog...so I guess this is IT!! LOL...so now everyone gets to see what I have been up to! Now, to put pictures of my work on here!! YIKES! I see so many with gorgeous sites and am so jealous! But, here is mine .... the beginning of it anyways...please be patient as I am not a 'reading comprehensive person' I learn better by 'seeing' then by reading and doing!!

If ANYONE..and I mean..ANYONE..has any ideas for me...by all means...please please tell me how to do certain things on here. Anything that would make this look better!!! Thanks all and have a great day!!!

First time!! ~

Hello everyone! I have never done a blog...so this should be interesting!! I guess I should get myself up to date with new technology!!
